E2E Board Members on Maserati 100

We are delighted to announce that our Chief Executive, Shalini Khemka and our Board Director, Lord Karan Bilimoria, CBE, DL have been featured on the Maserati 100 list.

Maserati and the Centre for Entrepreneurs have launched the second annual ‘Maserati 100’ index; a definitive list of 100 of Britain’s most successful philanthropists, investors, mentors and advisors, and, ascending entrepreneurs who are supporting the next generation of up and coming business talent. The Maserati 100 recognises entrepreneurs who are generously giving their time and resource to support the next generation of young entrepreneurs.

Shalini Khemka


Shalini founded E2Exchange in 2011 to create the UK’s leading organisation supporting entrepreneurs and helping them accelerate the growth of their businesses. E2Exchange regularly hosts high profile events to connect entrepreneurs. Shalini was formerly an investment director at LDC the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group and led LDC’s off-market origination network. Previously, Shalini co-founded the world’s first online ‘bank to bank’ trade finance company. Shalini is a Tech London Advocate and a columnist for Real Business Magazine and London Loves Business. Shalini is also an executive board director of the UK Business Angels Association.

Lord Karan Bilimoria, CBE, DL


Lord Karan Bilimoria is the founder of Cobra Beer. Launched in 1989, Karan’s aim was to brew the finest Indian beer and make it into a global beer brand. Today, it has a retail-value turnover of £126m and is exported to nearly 50 countries. Karan was appointed as a crossbench peer in 2006 and has been a thoughtful and articulate champion of entrepreneurship for many years. He regularly contributes to debates in the House of Lords on the topics of entrepreneurship and immigration, and he supported a recent government drive to attract more graduate entrepreneurs to the UK. He was one of the first visiting entrepreneurs at the University of Cambridge and in 2014, he was appointed chancellor of the University of Birmingham.
