Snapchat has rapidly become one of the most successful global sharing apps, with an average of 100 million users sending approximately 8 billion images a day. The app is used as a common tool for friends to share photos that disappear in a space of 10 seconds. Recognising the success of the app, businesses and brands have attempted to reach out to wider audiences by using Snapchat as a marketing tool, specifically when reaching ‘millennials’ as, statistically, they are the group that use Snapchat most regularly.
