Meera Santoro is the Founder and Creative Director of SANTORO, a multi-award-winning, premium design and fashion studio, with offices in London, North England, and Milan.
SANTORO creates art/brands and expands these brands into gift products in-house and through licensing partnerships with category-leading companies. In 1997, Meera set up the LICENSING division of SANTORO to grow and expand their Bang On The Door/Groovy Chick collection of stationery and cards into a multimillion-pound brand sensation. SANTORO, currently available in 93 countries and growing, has designed for Harrods and Her Majesty’s Jewel House and is the winner of 36 design awards to date, including most recently the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2018.
Through SANTORO Properties and SANTORO Deluxe, Meera and Lucio Santoro have developed properties within the UK and Italy, winning the RIBA UK Property Awards 5 Star Gold Best Residential Property Interior Design Award and the Highly Commended for a Single Unit Property within the same year, sponsored by Google and Bloomberg. They were RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architecture) finalists for the best house build for Swallows Drift.
Meera is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of SANTORUS, established in 2016, a luxury lifestyle and interiors design house conceived by two generations of the Santoro family and inspired by their unique, design-rich, and multicultural heritage. Clients include the Hyatt Regency Dubai, Ritz Carlton Aruba, Taj Hotels, and high-profile private individuals. SANTORUS, currently available in 12 countries worldwide, has been featured in Harper’s Bazaar, Absolutely, Financial Times Magazine, and the Saatchi Gallery.
Meera is the UK ambassador for the re-establishment of the Kwazulu-Natal Children’s Hospital in Durban, South Africa (formerly Addington’s Hospital) and is on the Committee for Caudwell Children’s charity. She is a member of E2E Exchange, The Women’s Chapter, and The British Fashion Council Trust.
