As Director and Compnay Secretary of £180m-turnover East End Foods, Jason Wouhra has a strategy to turn a thriving family business into a £1bn global corporate powerhouse. East End Foods was established over four decades ago. The success of the company can be attributed to the their commitment to quality control: they source only the best raw materials and maintain total control of the production process from start to finish. With a product range containing a massive 1250 lines, today East End Foods has grown to become the largest importer of ethnic foods in the UK.

Paul May, CEO – Patisserie Valerie

Paul is currently CEO at Patisserie Holdings Plc. Acquired in 2006 with 6 outlets and sales of £10 million, Paul has grown the business to an excess of 200 outlets, 5 brands and sales of £117 million. Paul is a serial entrepreneur that has been part of the management team in various retail businesses over 20 years. He was Founder and managing Director of Cash a Cheque (now known as the Money Shop) which became the market leader in its field with over 80 outlets when it was sold. He is presently non exec director of several other companies, including the Restaurant Group. Paul is also a Business Advisory Board Member to the Mayor of London and spends much of his spare time mentoring young people in his role as a patron with The Princes Trust.

Alison Cooper,  Founder – En Route International

En Route specialises in the development and delivery of tailored on-board food and service solutions. Alison launched UK-based En Route International in 2002 and grew it to a £40M buisness. En Route serves 65 corporate customers across 5 global locations and delivers to over 55 sites each week, and 40M units of product to over 100 locations worldwide annually. Emirates group (Dnata) acquired the majority share in 2012 for in excess of £7M and obtained full ownership in 2017. In 2018, Alison launched Palm Grove Investments, a privately-owned enterprise investing in property and private companies.

Rob Wilson, CEO – Toast Ale

Toast Ale has had great success in the UK and has expanded to the USA, South Africa, Brazil and Iceland. They believe that if you want to change the world, you have to throw a better party than those destroying it. All their profits poured into the charity. Rob is an award winning serial social entrepreneur. He founded READ International in 2004; a Tanzanian student-volunteer-led development organisation which to date has provided over 1.5 million books to school children and created 100 school libraries. He also recently co-founded the youth-led campaign Undivided; a non-partisan campaign set up to get the best possible Brexit deal for young people.

Richard Morris, CEO IWG UK

Richard is the CEO of Spaces and Regus UK. He joined in 2014 following his role as the CEO of G4S’s UK & Ireland Division. Regus is the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace solutions, offering a fast growing global network of over 3,000 locations in 110 countries. In 2017, with Richard at the helm, Regus UK generated more than £390 million in revenue, driving the profit to in excess of £79 million.

Shalini Khemka, Founder, CEO & Board Director – E2E

Founder and CEO E2E, Shalini founded E2E Shalini is a Member of the Mayor of London’s Business Advisory Board and a NED at UK Export Finance. She was previously an Investment Director at LDC and ran the Lloyds Group’s ‘plain vanilla’ International Trade Finance business. Prior to this, Shalini co-founded the world’s first online ‘bank to bank’ trade finance company. She was a management accountant at Deutsche Bank and worked in various finance related roles for Bankers Trust, Natwest Bank and Coopers & Lybrand.
