Mike Blackburn OBE – Experienced Non-Executive Chair/Director, Business Connector and Advisor.
Previously Vice President of FTSE quoted technology business, IOD Non-Executive Director of the Year 2016. Mike spent his 36-year career in the private sector, always working for technology companies. He now has a portfolio of non-exec roles including Chair of the Greater Manchester Local Enterprise Partnership (This board empowers business leaders to work with the public sector and jointly set the strategic course, determine local economic priorities and drive growth and job creation within the city region). Mike holds a number of other Non-Exec or Trustee roles.
He was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List in June 2015 for services to the economy in the North West.
Mike sits on the North West advisory board for the Prince of Wales charity, Business in the Community, and was selected as the Prince’s NW Regional Ambassador for 2010/11 and 2011/12.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
Rajesh Agrawal – Deputy Mayor of London for Business
Rajesh Agrawal is the Deputy Mayor of London for Business. Born in India, Rajesh moved to London in 2001. As an entrepreneur he founded RationalFX in 2005, and Xendpay in 2014, both companies utilising technology to reduce the cost of international money transfer for businesses and individuals.
Rajesh is passionate about promoting entrepreneurship and creating opportunities for young people. He was appointed Chair of Oxfam’s Enterprise Development Programme in 2015 and has been a Patron of the Prince’s Trust for many years.
As Deputy Mayor Rajesh aims to be a strong voice for London’s business community, protecting jobs and growth, and ensuring that the capital remains the most open and attractive place to do business in the world.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=”custom” accent_color=”#d9d9d9″][vc_column_text]
