Now that in-person experiences are back in vogue, we are delighted to share details of an amazing trip and experiences available to you with Sir Richard Branson and Virgin Unite. Created by our partner Virgin Unite, the Virgin Group’s independent charitable arm, these purpose-driven experiences will be like no other.

Intimate and impactful, the Necker Island experience is designed to help catalyse a positive change on urgent issues, by bringing together thought leaders and experts, alongside passionate individuals who are committed to making a difference. While at the same time, presenting an incredible opportunity to join a remarkable group of people who want to actively make a difference that this world desperately needs.

Virgin Unite is the independent non-profit foundation of the Virgin Group and Branson family. Each year, they host their annual flagship gathering, Disrupting for Good, on Necker Island, taking place 11th – 15th July 2023.

Co-hosted by Sir Richard Branson and Virgin Unite, Disrupting for Good presents an incredible opportunity to bring together a remarkable group of people, all driven to be part of the positive change this world needs.

This is a strictly by invitation only.

The experience includes all-inclusive accommodation on Necker Island for four nights, local transfers in the BVI, all meals and drinks, island activities, and most importantly, about half of the cost is a charitable contribution to support Virgin’s non-profit partners and projects around the world.

The Necker Island experiences are priced at $50K per room for two people sharing, which can be taken by a single individual, shared by a couple, or split between friends making it $25K USD per person, when sharing.

Disrupting for Good is Virgin Unite’s annual flagship gathering, bringing together a group of around 40 business leaders, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists alongside a line-up of extraordinary speakers.

Over the course of four nights and five days, you’ll discuss and act on some of the world’s most pressing challenges and exciting possibilities for impact. Each day, the group will gather for inspiring talks and collaborative sessions led by visionary frontline leaders, where you’ll have the chance to apply your unique perspective and resources directly towards world-shifting work a one-of-a-kind opportunity to co-create solutions and influence change.

The confirmed speakers this year include:
– President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, former President and Prime Minister of Mongolia who led the country’s transition to democracy and abolished the death penalty and newest member of The Elders (democracy, climate change, criminal justice reform, nuclear disarmament).

– Degan Ali, Somali American humanitarian consultant and executive director of Adeso, best known for her critique of power dynamics in the humanitarian aid system (decolonizing philanthropy).

– Professor Ian Goldin, economist, author, and professor at the University of Oxford focused on the future of work, development, and technological and economic change (globalization, economic issues, future trends).

– JeVon McCormick, President and CEO of Scribe Media with an incredible personal story of overcoming adversity (changing business for good, leadership, innovation).

– Gissou Nia, human rights lawyer, senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, and advisor for the End Gender Apartheid campaign (human rights, gender apartheid, Iran).
Necker Island is made up of 24 individual guest rooms, each boasting incredible panoramic ocean views and tropical outlooks.
